What is the Apache Development Lab?

The Apache Development Lab will be a place where members can experiment and test with technologies related to the Apache HTTP Server.

Not everything is fully set up just yet, so for the time being we are just providing links to interesting sites (see below).

The premier conference of the Apache Software Foundation. ApacheCon US 2006, will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Austin, Texas, October 9-13, 2006.

This annual event is a unique platform for the Open Source community to come together and gain insight into techniques and methodologies of Open Source software development, as well as gain skills used to deploy Apache software in particular.

The conference brings together ASF (Apache Software Foundation) members, developers and contributors, business people, and power users, working with Apache and related software.

The conference begins with two days of half-day and full-day tutorials, whichl offer techniques and methodologies aimed at helping to increase the demand for Open Source software.

Several intensive two-day long trainings are in the planning stage.

The three main conference days offer a wide range of beginner, intermediate and advanced sessions. ApacheCon 2006 will provide five tracks to choose featuring more than 70 sessions.
